DARKWELL To Begin Recording New Album

Austrian "gothic metal" band DARKWELL, featuring ex-ABIGOR and current SHADOWCAST drummer Moritz Neuner, will enter Mirror Production Studios this month to begin recording their second full-length album, tentatively due late April through Napalm Records.

The follow-up to the "Conflict Of Interest" EP (2002) will mark the group's first recording with new singer Stephanie Meier, who replaced previous vocalist Alexandra P. in early 2003.

The as-yet-untitled effort will be mastered by ATROCITY mastermind Alex Krull at his Mastersound Studios in Fellbach, Germany. A Central European tour will take place in April. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.
